Site Analysis

Pain Points

– The site before was hard to navigate

– No consistent design

– Oversized buttons

– Overwhelming

– Irrelevant information on the home page

– Mobile site was dysfunctional

– confusing to the user to find out what Reinvented is about

Problem statement:  How might we increase magazine sales?

Business goal: Increase in magazine sales

User goal: Buy magazines and learn about Reinvented

Results + Current Website

The home page displays about Reinvented, the current magazine issue for sale, and a button to encourage users to buy or learn more.

The home page now clearly answers WHO Reinvented Magazine is and what the organization does.

Most non-profits websites include a “Donate” button and we did the same with our website in the nav menu and footer.

Several iterations were made for all of the pages following intensive design and usability feedback from the Board of Directors and 30 users.

Branding and Style

The new website has an updated style guide which is modern and fits Reinvented’s brand with fresh colors and variations of pink.
